The friendly staff went above and beyond, assisting us with everything from tuk-tuk hires to navigating the immaculate Kandy-Ella train route. That hospitality included a delightful breakfast, packed with fresh fruits and the option to take leftovers on the go-appreciated for those of us always on the move. The accommodation itself featured a comfortable bed, good water pressure, and thoughtful touches like a mosquito net over the bed and free Wi-Fi. The location, just minutes from the train station and Kandy Lake, was convenient, though be prepared for a steep walk back up the hill. Kandyan White offers a solid value, making it an ideal choice for the budget-conscious traveler seeking a genuine local experience without sacrificing comfort.
